Blue as a colour has often been associated with calmness, tranquillity and serenity. Likewise, it has also been associated with depression, melancholy and dejection. ‘Blue lines’ is a narrative poetry that takes us through a variety of emotions through the eyes of the main character in his pursuit for a life of peace and love. He goes through moments of happiness, desire, pleasure, interest, admiration, disgust, envy, anger, fear, sadness, anxiety, shame and many more. His understanding and consolidation of these emotions leads him in his pursuit for peace and love.
