Programme Description

POF has always been about two things:

1. Teaching dedicated aspiring, up-and-coming and experienced writers how to master their craft; how to blend talent/skill and writing technique with artistic intent to produce content that is clear, simple and evocative.

2. Building a community of writers who are awake to their creative power and purpose.

In line with these, this 5th edition will focus on creative writing; exploring the relevant and timeless details of fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry and drama. As is our custom, the programme is divided into two parts; workshop and competition, spread throughout the given duration. The workshop will feature E–learning (with text and video lessons following a structured curriculum), writing assignments, Q&A sessions, group discussions, and quizzes. The competition will hold in four stages; mock stage, qualifiers, pre-finals and finals.
